Aerise supports institutions in planning and building controlled indoor flying cages and UAV testing zones. We also provide access to our Singapore facility for suitable UAV, robotics, education and research activities.
Facility support
Design and build
Plan a flying cage or controlled testing zone around the available space, intended aircraft, operating workflow and institutional requirements.
Use the Aerise facility
Discuss access to our indoor testing environment for suitable UAV trials, robot testing, workshops and research activities.
2026 Auto-Retractable Robotics Activity Zone
For a Singapore polytechnic, Aerise designed a flexible robotics activity zone with three independently retractable net sides. When the nets are raised, the room returns to a large open teaching space. For UAV or robotics activities, the relevant net sides can be deployed to create a controlled operating area.
Three-sided retractable enclosure
Raise or deploy each net side to configure the controlled area around the planned activity.
Multi-use classroom conversion
Return the room to an open teaching layout when a contained robotics zone is not required.
Activity-based zoning
Close the relevant sides for UAV, mobile-robot or other supported practical sessions while retaining useful surrounding space.
Integrated institutional design
Coordinate the retractable system with the existing room, teaching workflow, access and facility constraints.

Completed institutional drone cage
For a Singapore polytechnic, Aerise designed and built a dedicated indoor drone cage for education, training and controlled UAV activities. The enclosure was developed around the available room, intended use and day-to-day teaching environment.
Space and use-case planning
Plan the enclosure around room dimensions, circulation, intended aircraft and teaching or research workflows.
Enclosure design
Configure the frame, protective netting, access points and floor area for controlled indoor UAV operation.
Room integration
Coordinate the cage with the existing room, lighting, projection area and other supported teaching infrastructure.
Installation and handover
Deliver the completed enclosure and prepare the facility for the institution’s intended training and testing activities.

Our Singapore testing environment
6 × 5 × 4 m enclosure
A controlled indoor volume for practical testing and training activities.
Chingmu MC1300
